Bundeena Breakers11E’s v Engadine Crusaders 1-0
What better way to spend a Saturday morning then down at the local oval watching these little dynamos wiz around the field out maneuvering their opposition.
The 11E’s have had a great start to the season especially considering most of the team has jumped up from the 9’s last season.
The teams seemed fairly evenly matched at the start of the game even though the crusaders were double the height of some of our players.
The first half saw Bundeena take the lead when Nathan wove through the opposition to score a great goal. The whole team worked throughout the rest of the half keeping the crusaders at bay, Harrison was in goals and did a great job jumping on anything that came anywhere near the goals.
The second half saw Bundeena in a stronger attacking position, they were unlucky not to have scored. Every player worked hard and contributed to the win this game which was great to see.
The team played a great game, there skills are really developing some of the passes across field were spot on.
Looks like we are in for a great season.
