With Louis and Dane off sick, and Kye bravely joining us from his sick bed for the second half, crucial assistance was provided by Bailey, playing up from the under-6s, and Ruby from the other under-7s team.

This was one of our toughest games, with Bonnet Bay fielding a very accomplished side. Highlights for Bundeena included a very skilful goal by Aimee in the first half, in the face of extremely strong defense. Well done Aimee!

Bonnet Bay maintained their impressive attack throughout the game and managed to score 8 goals. While Bundeena scored just the one goal, the kids put up a fierce defense which prevented the opposition’s score being higher.

Special mention for great defense goes to Josephine, Lily and the amazing Bailey, whose speed and agility repeatedly foiled Bonnet Bay’s attack. Matthew also had a good game with some big kicks booted across the entire field.

Let’s hope we can shake off the flus and get our full team of mighty under-7s back on board next week!
