Bundeena vs St Patricks - won 12-1

A warm, sunny day greeted us for the first game of the year. Our five brave under 7s charged onto the field without any subs, ran their hearts out and played magnificently.

Dane scored the first goal of the game in the opening minutes. He continued with some great attacking and followed it up with two more goals in the second half.

Even though they were playing their first match ever, Josephine and Kye showed great agility and amazing understanding of the game. Josephine scored a total of five goals (two in the first half, three in the second) and demonstrated her speed and ball control. Kye also scored a fantastic goal in the second half.

Lily was right in the thick of things and made some great kicks in defense, sending the ball back down several times towards our goal.

A great cross by Louis just before the half time whistle resulted in an own goal against St Pats. Louis followed this up with a goal (his first) in the opening minute of the second half, and then another, taking Bundeena to a well deserved 12-1 victory.
