Awards Presentation 2007

Bundeena RSL Gunyah
A well attended soccer awards presentation gave a special tribute to long serving member Murray Armytage.

Murray, or Muz as he's commonly known, has played for the Bundeena Maianbar Soccer Club for thirty seasons (yes that's 30!). In recent years he's been the club's grounds manager and has been a reliable figure on weekend mornings for the getting the fields ready for play. On the field he has been the backbone of the men's 35 defense.

Along with a medallion presented by NSW MP Paul McLeay he was also presented with a commemorative beer mug by RSL president Graeme Kelly. The mug got great use as it was refillable without charge for the day! The soccer club also as special thanks gave Muz a lifetime membership so it looks like he will be around for a few seasons yet.

Special thanks also went out to our outgoing soccer vice president Brian Elton who has been instrumental in the running of the club the last few years. Lastly, the boy's 9E team were presented with badged jumpers for their winning grand final efforts.
