W12B vs Gymea WON 7-3

What a fantastic start to the season!

All the girls played well, supported each other and played as a team.

Every girl touched the ball and their shepherding work around the ball made the coach very pleased.

Nell did great work as goalie in the first half and we were up 5 – 1 with Maree scoring two and Ellie scoring a hat trick in the first half.

The second half started with Shona being in goals and unfortunately, there was a muck up in the penalty box and Shona had no hope of saving the goal.

Emma stepped in shortly after and changed with Shona midway through the second half.

Great play by Seanie in defence and clearing kicks by Emma and Jamie.

Lily was her livewire self and was unlucky not to have scored.

Maree scored twice more in the second half.

Great teamwork girls can’t wait for next week.
