ROUND 3: W16B vs. Georges River Win: 4:1
Georges River kicked off our game at 8:30am. We had eleven people with Ellen away. Georges River had a few shots at a goal but our goalie in the first half, Taylor managed to save them all. We got the ball down our half and Kate scored our first goal early in the game. We kept the ball down our half after that and Megan scored our second goal. Not long after, Charlotte scored a great goal that curved into the net. At half time we were winning 3:0.
Second half we came back on the field with Tanara in goals and Rebecca, Gail and Lauren in the backs. They made sure the ball stayed in our half. With a goal attempt by Anita and help from Paige, Caitlin scored our fourth goal. It was near the end of the game and we were really happy with this result. But as a result of a Georges River throw in, an opposition player chased the ball into their goals, ending the game with our win of 4:1.
It was a good game with a great result. Congratulations everyone!
